For over a half century, Rothkopf & Associates has earned the reputation as a high-performing provider of standard and custom O-Rings and molded rubber components.
We began in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1956 as the R.F. Carlson Company - distributors of O-Rings to OEM’s. In 1984 John Rothkopf purchased the R.F. Carlson Company and formed Rothkopf & Associates, Inc. Today, Rothkopf & Associates ships millions of precision molded rubber components to customers in a variety of markets across the country and around the world.
One of our earliest designs – the rivet seal O-Ring on the west wing of McDonnell Aircraft’s F-4 Phantom Fighter – was developed in the late 1950’s and remained a small but extremely critical component of the F-4 Phantom program for nearly 30 years and 4,000 aircraft.
Other early designs were a variety of O-Rings, seals and shapes in carburetors and brake systems in the Automotive OEM and Aftermarket spaces. Over the years, parts sourced through R&A have found their way into the Industrial, Appliance and Medical markets. Although very different, what all of these parts have in common is that they represent critical system components that have to be right each and every time with no margin for error.
This is our pedigree. Rothkopf & Associates is able to provide a customized or standard precision-molded rubber component built to our customers exacting specifications supported by decades of expert technical experience from our veteran team of co-workers and manufacturers.
